Case study
Senior Co-living
Senior Coliving explores a new type of living environment for a generation seeking independence, security and social community without compromising on design quality.
Industry: Senior Living & Real Estate
Services: Spatial strategy, interior architecture, user experience, place identity

The concept transforms senior living into a warmer and more contemporary experience: clear flows, tactile materials, social spaces with character and a close relationship to daylight, vegetation and the rhythm of everyday life.
Challenge and goal
The challenge was to create a senior living environment that felt like a home and a community, not an institution. The space needed to balance privacy, accessibility, orientation, and everyday encounters.
- Create a warm, homely and recognizable atmosphere.
- Make movements and orientation intuitive through clear spatial sequences.
- Integrate nature, daylight and natural materials into the daily experience.

Solution
The strategy is based on a bright indoor street that serves as the social backbone of the project. Around it, smaller living units, green courtyards and common spaces are organized that support both movement and rest.
Wood, glass, greenery and soft colour schemes create an environment that feels safe without becoming clinical. The corridor becomes not a passage, but a place for walks, conversations, breaks and everyday presence.
Accommodation experience
Every part of the concept is based on everyday life: seating at natural breaks, vegetation as a point of orientation, visual contact with courtyards and social rooms that feel more like living rooms than shared corridor spaces.
The result is a Senior Coliving environment that communicates security without rigidity, community without removing privacy, and well-being without institutional expression.
