What makes EOLOS Design Lab different from a regular interior designer?
EOLOS is a commercial design studio with architects - not interior designers in the traditional sense. The difference is not just about skills but about approach. A regular interior designer chooses materials and furniture. We design spaces that work as a business tool. We analyze how your customers move, how the service flows, how the space communicates the brand, and how all of that translates into more sales, longer visit times or higher average costs. We also manage the entire implementation: building permits, renovation, coordination of contractors and final delivery - all with the same team.
Why is the design of a commercial space a business decision and not just an aesthetic issue?
A hotel without an identity competes on price. A restaurant without a design language fills only during peak season. An office without a well-thought-out environment loses talent before anyone says it out loud. The physical space affects how your customers behave, how your brand is perceived and whether you can charge what you're worth. We design for the space to work for the business: longer visits, higher spend, clearer brand experience and repeat customers. We don't design to look good on Instagram - we design to work.
Which industries does EOLOS Design Lab work with?

Can EOLOS in Stockholm manage a project in Spain for me?
Yes, and it is one of our most common assignments. We take the brief in Stockholm and deliver in Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella or elsewhere in Spain with locally registered architects (COAM) on site. You don't need to hire a separate Spanish studio or manage the coordination between two teams. One team, one point of contact, no communication gaps between markets. Does EOLOS manage the renovation and construction, or just the design?
We manage the whole process. From initial analysis and creative concept to technical documentation, building permit application, coordination of contractors and final delivery. Our accredited architects (SAR/MSA in Sweden, COAM in Spain) can sign and apply for building permits and activity licenses. We are not a studio that hands over drawings and disappears - we are there during implementation to ensure that what is built matches what was designed. What is included in EOLOS commercial interior design assignments?
It varies by assignment format, but generally includes: review of brief and business objectives, creative concept and mood board, 2D planning and 3D visualization, material and finish selection, technical documentation for construction, coordination with contractors and follow-up during implementation. We offer three main formats: interior design only, the Total Experience (interior design plus branding and web), and Total Renovation with project management. Does EOLOS also design brand identity and website?
We do. We design brand identities - naming, visual system, brand manual - and digital projects such as websites and apps, either as part of an interior design project or as a stand-alone assignment. The added value is consistency: the space, the brand and the digital speak the same language because the same team designs everything with the same starting point from day one. If you already have a brand or website from another studio, that's no problem - we just work on the interior design. How do I know if my project is suitable for EOLOS?
It's likely to fit if: you have or are starting a business where the physical space is part of the customer experience; you want the design to respond to concrete business objectives and not just an aesthetic preference; you're looking for a team to manage the project from start to finish without you having to coordinate between designers, engineers and builders yourself; or if you're a property owner or investor looking to increase the value of an asset through design. We are not the right choice if you are looking for something quick and cheap with no process. We have a methodology and we apply it to every project regardless of size.
How does the first meeting work and what does it cost?
The first meeting is free of charge. It is a 30 to 45 minute conversation where we understand your project, your goals, your approximate budget and your timeline. After that call, you'll know if we're a good fit, what service format is best, and what the next steps look like. No sales pitch, no pressure. If we're not a good fit, we'll say so up front.
